Does the treatment hurt?
Most clients tolerate the treatment well. Some warmth or mild discomfort may be felt during RF Microneedling, but the treatment is carefully calibrated for the delicate under-eye and eye contour area.
Are there any side effects?
Mild, temporary side effects can include redness, slight swelling, sensitivity, or a warm “sunburn-like” sensation in the treated area. Some clients may notice pinpoint marks or very light flaking as the skin renews. These usually settle within a few hours to a couple of days when aftercare advice is followed. Any risks or concerns will be discussed fully at your consultation.
How long does the treatment take?
The full appointment, including consultation, assessment, preparation and treatment, typically takes around 45–60 minutes.
Am I suitable for RF Microneedling treatment?
This treatment may not be suitable for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active skin infections, cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area, severe eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis, recent Accutane/isotretinoin use, a history of keloid scarring or poor wound healing, certain autoimmune disorders affecting skin healing, uncontrolled diabetes, active cancer or cancer treatment, pacemakers or implanted electronic devices, or recent facial surgery, laser treatments or deep chemical peels in the treatment area.
When can I see the results of this treatment?
Most people are able to notice some initial improvements and a tightening effect shortly after the treatment. The results then continue to develop as new collagen is produced, with gradual improvements over the following weeks and up to 2–3 months after the procedure.
How can I maintain these results?
To help maintain your results, follow a good skincare routine, wear SPF daily, and keep your skin hydrated. Periodic maintenance treatments may also be recommended to support ongoing collagen production and long-lasting results.
